Friends and Colleagues-
On August 4th, I will ride to raise money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund by riding as part of the Pan-Mass Challenge.
This past year, as I’ve watched friends being treated at Dana-Farber, I was able to witness how our our PMC efforts directly contributed to their treatment and recovery. I am heartened to know that we contributed to that success in some small way.
Since 1980, the PMC has raised over $338 million (yes, 1/3 of a billion dollars!) for research and treatment the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Our goal this year is $36 million. 100% of your contribution is donated to the cause. The sponsors and the riders of the PMC pick up all expenses.
And it’s easy to help. Go to the PMC eGifts website ( https://www.pmc.org/egifts/ ), click Sponsor one Rider with one donation”, then click “Select a person by eGift ID and enter my eGift ID: JS0359 (or you can search for me by name – I’m the only Jeffrey Scornavacca riding) and make a donation with your credit card. Alternatively, you can send a check payable to Pan-Massachusetts Challenge to my home address below.
Thanks to all those who sponsored me on my 8 previous PMC rides. It’s always an inspiring day! On behalf of myself and the over 5,200 cyclists participating in this year’s event, I thank you in advance for your generosity. Together we can make a difference!
All the best,
